SOR level transmitters continuously sense the liquid level in tanks and deliver a 4-20 mA current proportional to the level. The current output can be connected to a programmable logic controller, computer, remote display or relay module to display and/or control the liquid level in the tank. Depending on the model you choose monitoring may be accomplished without contacting the process. Our transmitters may be used as a point or continuous level measurement device.
510 Submersible Level Transmitter
The 510 submersible transmitter is a loop-powered transmitter that accurately and reliably measures levels for many types of liquids. The transmitter indicates level by continuously monitoring the head pressure of the liquid, using a high performance ceramic strain gauge sensor. The 510 has a corrosionresistant 316 stainless steel housing, Viton seals and a high-density Polyethylene (HDPE) cable jacket for compatibility with most liquids. A PVC self-flushing nose cone on the 510LT prevents clogging and is easily removed for calibration or rigid mounting. The transmitter is vented at the surface (through a tube in the cable) to reference atmospheric pressure.
Model 670 RF Level Transmitter
The 670 provides continuous level measurement and a 4-20 mA linear output. It is a high-performance, general-purpose level transmitter that is well suited for many demanding applications that other technologies cannot handle.
