Application

Fire Water & Sprinkler Systems

Flow measurement on fire mains, flow checks on sprinkler installations, and flow switches that confirm emergency safety showers and eyewash stations are working.

Measures: Fire main flow · Sprinkler flow checks · Safety shower activation

2

Sprinkler Installation Checks

Safety auditors and sprinkler contractors use portable clamp-on meters to check the flow in sprinkler installations, on carbon steel pipes from DN50 to DN600, without draining or opening the system.

3

Emergency Safety Showers & Eyewash Stations

A vane flow switch on the inlet water line signals the moment a safety shower or eyewash station is used, so an alarm, beacon or the control room knows someone needs help. The V6 fits 1/2 to 2 in lines and the V4 lines of 1-1/2 in and up, in weatherproof or explosion-proof versions. The same switch confirms flow during the weekly activation test.
