SOR has made rugged pressure, temperature and level instruments for the process industries since 1946. SOR switches are known for hermetically sealed switching elements, explosion-proof housings and long service lives in refineries, chemical plants, power stations and oil and gas facilities. Ronsor Engineering is the authorised and sole distributor of SOR in Singapore.

What Ronsor supplies

• Pressure switches: piston and diaphragm switches such as the Big Hermet, V2 Dual Hi-Lo and V3 adjustable dead band, from 1 bar vacuum to 480 bar, and Bourdon tube switches to 10,000 psi.
• Differential pressure switches: from low-range models for clean air and gas (2.5 in wc) to high static pressure designs for up to 175 bar differential.
• Level switches: float, displacer and ultrasonic switches, top or side mounted, with serviceable flanged or sealed chambers, including steam trap level switches.
• Level transmitters and pressure transmitters: submersible hydrostatic transmitters and the 800 Series smart pressure and differential pressure transmitters.
• Temperature switches, temperature sensors and thermowells and temperature transmitters.
• SENSOR sampling systems: closed-loop grab samplers for liquids, liquefied gases and vapours, including the new Tank Farm Sampling System for samples from several levels of a storage tank, plus spare parts and consumables for SENSOR and other makes of sampling system.

Our application pages show SOR models at each measuring point on pumps and compressors, distillation columns and process vessels, storage tanks and loading, steam and power boilers, gas treatment and metering skids and lift stations.

Built to order

Every SOR instrument is built to order. The range, wetted materials, process connection, switching element, enclosure and approvals (such as ATEX, CSA, UL and SIL) are chosen for each duty, so the model code fits your process rather than the nearest catalogue item. Send us the process medium, pressure, temperature, set points and area classification, and our engineers will specify the model and confirm the lead time.

SOR is now part of DwyerOmega. In September 2026 DwyerOmega acquired SOR Controls Group. Ronsor continues as SOR’s distributor in Singapore, and SOR customers can now also get the wider DwyerOmega range through us.
