Pressure Transmitters
Gauge, absolute and differential pressure transmitters and transducers.
Pressure transmitters convert gauge, absolute or differential pressure into a 4-20 mA, HART or digital signal for control and monitoring. Differential pressure transmitters also measure flow (across an orifice or flow element), level in closed vessels, and filter or room pressure.
Choosing a pressure transmitter
- General industrial (DwyerOmega): stainless steel transducers such as the Omega PX309 and Dwyer 626/628, and the high-accuracy PX409.
- Hazardous areas: intrinsically safe models such as the Omega PX835 and PX509-IS, explosion-proof models such as the Dwyer 3200G, and the SOR 800 Series.
- Smart differential pressure for flow and level: the Dwyer 3100D and 3100MP, and the SOR 1800 Series.
- Wet-to-wet differential pressure (Dwyer 645): across pumps, filters, chillers and coils in water systems.
- Low differential pressure for air: the Magnesense, DM-2000 and 605 Magnehelic transmitters for cleanrooms, ducts and filters.
- Sanitary (Omega PX3005K): for food, beverage and pharmaceutical processes.
What to tell us
- Gauge, absolute or differential, and the range
- The medium and the wetted materials it needs
- Accuracy, output and whether you need a local display
- Process connection and process temperature
- Area classification and approvals
Each transmitter is built to order to these details. See pressure transmitters placed on pumps and compressors, hydronic systems, cleanrooms, bioprocessing skids and data centre cooling.
