The 2700 Series is SOR's newest ultrasonic level switch, launched in 2025. It brings together features that were spread across SOR's earlier models, the 701, 711 and 721 and the 712 and 722, and makes them standard in one platform. The dual point version adds a second set point.
A pair of crystals faces each other across the sensor gap: one sends an ultrasonic signal and the other receives it. When liquid fills the gap the signal gets through much more strongly, and the relay changes state. With no moving parts there is nothing to stick or wear, no calibration is needed, and maintenance is an annual visual inspection.
