Burner Ignition
High energy igniters light gas and oil burners directly, or light a gas pilot that then lights the main burner. Spark check units confirm that the igniter is sparking, and retraction units pull the spark tip out of the flame after light-off.

Flame Monitoring
Compact flame controllers read the radiation from each burner flame and signal flame-on or flame failure to the burner management system. Fibre optic cables carry the flame signal away from hot, crowded burner fronts.
Compact Flame ControllersBFI compact flame controllers that combine flame detection and evaluation in one unit and tell their own burner's flame from neighbouring burners.
Flame Monitoring Fibre Optic CablesBFI glass fibre-optic cables that carry flame radiation to a flame scanner or controller, for hot (up to 600 °C) or high-vibration mounting points.
Tube Skin & Furnace Temperature
Thermal imaging borescopes watch the whole radiant section continuously, so hot spots on the tubes are caught before they cause a failure. Portable pyrometers are used for routine tube skin temperature surveys, and calibration sources keep them accurate.
NIR-B-640Measuring in a range from 600 to 2000°C (1112 to 3632°F), the NIR-Borescope-640 (NIR-B-640) provides a high-resolution thermal image with real-time, continuous, high-accuracy temperature readings.
Borescope NIR-B-640-ExThe NIR-Borescope-640-EX is a short wavelength radiometric infrared borescope imaging
MWIR-B-640 Thermal Imaging SolutionCombustion atmospheres using dirty fuels require a thermal imaging solution with advanced spectral filtering and high resolution to deliver clear live images from within a furnace, boiler or incinerator.
Cyclops LAMETEK Land Cyclops L portable, one-handed non-contact pyrometer for spot temperature readings and checking fixed pyrometers, with trigger-controlled data logging.
LandcalAMETEK Land Landcal blackbody sources for calibrating infrared thermometers from -10 °C to 1600 °C, traceable to national standards; bench, portable and transportable.
Furnace Viewing
Cooled high-temperature cameras give operators a live view of the burner flames and firebox from the control room.
Combustion & Flue Gas Analysis
In-situ TDLAS analysers measure O2, CO and other gases across the firebox or stack in real time, so excess air can be trimmed safely to save fuel and reduce emissions.
Fuel Gas, Combustion Air & Draft
Thermal mass flow meters measure fuel gas and combustion air, and low range differential pressure switches for burner management systems watch the furnace draft.
Low Range 107 Differential Pressure SwitchSOR 107EL low differential pressure switch for air and clean gases in hazardous areas, 0 to 1000 mm wc, for room pressure and filter monitoring.
ST80 Flow MeterFCI ST80 thermal mass flow meter for industrial air and gas, with a wide choice of sensors (including wet gas) and process connections.
MT100 Flow MeterFCI MT100 multipoint insertion thermal flow meter with up to eight sensing points, for air and gas flow in stacks, flues and large ducts with short straight runs.
