Burning Zone Imaging
Short-wave and mid-wave thermal imaging borescopes at the firing hood show the flame and the burning zone with live temperatures, so firing can be adjusted before the product goes off-spec. High-temperature cameras give a clear visual view of the flame.

Kiln Shell Hot Spots
Fixed thermal imagers watch the outside of the rotating shell around the clock and alarm on hot spots that point to refractory damage. Portable pyrometers are used for spot checks.

Fuel Gas & Combustion Air Flow
The kiln uses a lot of fuel. Thermal mass flow meters measure the fuel gas and primary air directly in mass units, so the fuel to air ratio can be held at its most efficient point.
