Pressure & Differential Pressure Gauges
Magnehelic® and digital differential pressure gauges, and industrial and process pressure gauges.
A pressure gauge gives a local reading that needs no power and no control system. Differential pressure gauges show the pressure across filters, fans and coils, and between rooms that must stay at a positive or negative pressure.
Differential pressure gauges
- Magnehelic (DwyerOmega): long the standard for low differential pressure in HVAC, cleanrooms and dust collectors, with a high-accuracy version and the compact Minihelic II.
- Digital gauges and controllers: the DM-1000 and Digihelic, which add alarm or control outputs and can display flow.
Process and utility pressure gauges
- Industrial and process gauges (Miljoco, Weiss, Dwyer): stainless steel cases, dry or liquid-filled. Liquid filling damps pointer flutter from pulsation and vibration, for example on pump discharges.
- HVAC and contractor’s gauges: for chilled and hot water, and building services.
- Accessories: coil syphons protect gauges on steam lines.
What to tell us
- The range, ideally with normal operating pressure in the middle third of the scale
- The medium and the wetted materials it needs
- Dial size, accuracy class and case (dry or liquid-filled)
- Process connection and mounting (stem, surface or panel)
- Whether pulsation, vibration or steam is present
Gauges are ordered to these details. See pressure gauges placed on cleanrooms, chiller plants, hydronic systems, pumps and compressors and silos and dust collectors.
