Gas Detection & Oxygen Analysers
Fixed and portable gas detectors, oxygen analysers and combustion analysers.
Gas detection protects people and plant; gas analysis keeps processes in specification. The right instrument depends on the gas, the concentration range (percent, ppm or ppb) and whether the location is a hazardous area.
Choosing an instrument
- Car parks and plant rooms (DwyerOmega): carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide transmitters such as the Dwyer GSTA/GSTC, CMT200 and CMS300, for ventilation control and alarms.
- Flammable gas in process areas (Dynament): infrared hydrocarbon sensors and flameproof fixed detectors. Infrared sensing works without oxygen and isn’t poisoned the way catalytic sensors can be.
- Hydrogen sulphide (AII): the GPR-7100 and GPR-7500 H₂S analysers for biogas and natural gas treatment.
- Trace oxygen (AII): the ultra-trace oxygen analyser measures down to ppb levels for inerting and high-purity gases.
- In-situ combustion and emissions gases (NEO Monitors): TDLAS laser analysers measure O₂, CO, NH₃ and other gases directly across a duct or stack.
What to tell us
- Which gas, and the range: % LEL, % volume, ppm or ppb
- Safety (people) or process (quality) measurement
- Ambient or process location, and how the sample reaches the sensor
- Output, alarm relays and display
- Area classification and approvals
Instruments are configured to order to these details. See them placed on biogas digesters, cogeneration plants, gas treatment and metering skids and chiller plant rooms.
