Heliflu TLM

The Heliflu™ TLM is Faure Herman's compact helical turbine meter for loading refined products and other low-viscosity liquids. A flow conditioner is built into the meter, so it needs no straight pipe runs upstream or downstream and can go straight after a bend or strainer. That makes it a good fit for the tight space on truck and rail car loading arms and on airport refuellers, where it can replace a PD meter without changing the piping.

Like the larger Heliflu TZN, it uses Faure Herman's helical rotor, which keeps the fluid moving parallel to the blades and makes the meter less sensitive to changes in viscosity and density. The measuring cartridge slides out of the body for maintenance, usually in under an hour. A pre-calibrated spare cartridge keeps the loading point running while the original goes back for calibration.

• One or two inductive pick-up coils with a pulse output for any flow computer; local totaliser on request
