The TG40 pilot torch is built for flare tips. It combines a high energy ignition rod, redundant thermocouples for flame detection and an outlet for a Flame Front Generator (FFG), so it can be used for new flares or to retrofit and upgrade existing FFG systems. Together with the re-ignition control box it keeps the flare reliably lit.
